Corsica is not merely an island in the Mediterranean — it is a world of its own…
This historic and legendary French island is blessed with a landscape as diverse and picture-perfect as few other places. Snow-capped mountain peaks rising to 2,500 metres, deep gorges, crystal-clear mountain rivers, endless pine forests, fragrant maquis bursting into bloom in every colour, chestnut forests, rugged rocky coastlines, and magnificent sandy beaches all come together here.
Nature filmmaker Barbara Puskás spent a year filming in Corsica alongside some of Austria’s finest wildlife cinematographers, creating a fascinating 50-minute portrait of Corsica, the green island of the Mediterranean.
