The conservative-style gardener (Erwin Steinhauer) has had enough of gardening. He moves to the city, into a penthouse apartment with a small, manageable green terrace. But it’s not enough that the city also has plenty of unwelcome creatures; his new neighbors (Mercedes Echerer and Rupert Henning) are strikingly reminiscent of his former neighbors. They are also “so organic, so thoroughly eco-minded,” as Steinhauer puts it. Conflict on the rooftop terraces is inevitable.
