The main filming location is a farm in Lower Austria. The main characters are the farm animals and the farmers. Viewers become part of everyday life on the farm, sharing in the work, the frustrations caused by the weather, the mishaps and the joys. The camera adopts the perspective of both the animals and the people. In the familiar “Universum” style and quality, the behavior and individual characteristics of the cows, pigs, goats, chickens and ducks are brought to life. This film does not introduce any new animal species or inaccessible remote regions, and yet it takes viewers into an unfamiliar world.
