For Manfred Corrine’s two-part Universum production LAND DER BERGE – 9 LAENDER, 9 GIPFEL alpine legend Peter Habeler accompanies Austrian celebrities to the highest mountain peaks in each state. In these unusual situations president Heinz Fischer, Elisabeth Orth, Sabine Haag, Gerlinde Kaltenbrunner, Angelika Kirchschlager, Sabine Ladstätter, Kilian Fischhuber, Karl Gabl and Willi Resetarits talk about their passion for mountains and show how exciting and diverse the experience of mountaineering can be.

Universum also follows extreme alpinists Angelika Haspl and Gerfried Goeschl as they attempt to conquer the highest peaks in each of the nine states in just nine days.
